Where did you find these tapes?

The box of VHS tapes was found in the basement of our office in Downtown LA.

What are they from?

The tapes are from a video dating service by the name of VHS Dates that existed in Van Nuys, California.

When are they from?

There are no exact dates on the tapes, but we believe they were recorded sometime in the mid 80s to the early 90s.

How did you digitize them?

We use Blackmagic video converters to convert analog VCR signals to digital. We then record onto SSDs using Blackmagic Video Assist devices.

We are a small production company in Los Angeles, California.
